There are 2 ways in which you can send us your scrap for processing. You can either call or email our office to arrange to visit us at the address below or by sending your scrap through the post. We also provide collection from your premises for floor and polishing sweeps.

Once received we will process your scrap and get back to you with a value within 1-2 working days.

What we do

Goldenforge Ltd are a precious metal recovery service, processing polishing sweeps, floor sweeps, lemels, extraction bags, bars, scrap, and slimes.

Our prices are extremely competitive. Prices are adjusted daily according to the daily fix.
However, we do offer the option to fix your price on a chosen date.

We provide the following casting grains:
9ct in white, yellow or red
14ct in white & yellow
18ct in white & yellow

We Provide gold and silver wire for handmade jewellery:
9ct in white, yellow &red
14ct in white, yellow & red.
18ct in white and yellow
Silver 925 and fine silver

We also provide all types of laser wire, Platinum, 18 white, 18 yellow, 18 red, 9 yellow, 9 white, 9 red.

Scrap Assay & Melt
The melt and assay for scrap and lemel will take 1-2 working days and for polishing sweeps, floor sweeps, extraction bags and slimes 5 working days.
The normal charge for melt & assay is £20.
Lemel, sweep and bars will be assayed according to what you request, Gold, Silver, Platinum, Palladium.  

Melt & Assay
For all types of sweep the charge for anything less than 20 kilogram is £30 for a melt & assay. For anything over 20 kilogram the charge is £1.50 a kilogram. Again, your first melt and assay will have no charge.

Payment
Once we receive your package we will melt if necessary and call to inform you once we have the result of your assay. Once we have informed you of your results you can choose how you would like to receive payment by:
Cash / Cheque / Bank Transfer Alternatively, we can also offer precious metal wire for handmade jewellery and casting graining return. We will also send you a full report of your results.
